First Day[s] of Spring Semester.

Classes began January 26th 2009. i go to class 4 day a week, Monday thur Thursday, although... i SURE do wish i could go everyday, but thats highly impossible because of the whole Block and Box situations that have me workin' 40+ hours a week. [ : As far as this being my 2nd semester at Cypress College, i absolutely love it! I try to take advantage of everything being offered in my department [ Airline/Travel Careers ] and stay focused on achieving the massive goal i set for myself this year. That is, if you have already forgotten, Delta's [or even good ole' Alaska will work] Future Flight Attendant. This semester i have enrolled myself into 4 classes including:

1. Passenger Safety and Services
2. Customer Care: Airline/Travel
3. Private Pilot
4. Air Navigation

The first two classes are all i need to finish up to get my Basics certificate in Flight Attendant. Many students in my department are going for their advanced certificate [ all the power to you guys! ] but i feel that a basics certificate is all you really need TO GET hired with any particular airline (unless i decided to work for United, then thats a WHOLE nother bloggg ) [ : ...along with the 2 extra years of college [ which i gained from attending the University of Riverside, when i thought i wanted to become a hotel manager ] yah, that idea didn't level out too well. anyways, so this semester, ill be applying for my basics in March and hoping to pass my classes with a breeze.

The other two classes I'm taking this semester are furthering me along in achieving a long term goal [ possibly short term now, with all the motivation i have encountered ]. that goal of course would be to obtain my Pilot's License along with the medical certificate that goes along with it. So basically, i attended my first session of Private Pilot class the other night, and i can SURE say that i was in a classroom full of guys. Aging from 60 to probably 18. A large range of different ages and 's exciting is that all of them no matter what their background or experience was, was there to achieve their goal in becommin' a pilot. [ : I heard the dropout rate for that class was about 85%, more so that only like 3 or 4 students are likely to actually go through with the class all 16 weeks. yikes! hopefully the other young guy pilots don't feel intimated when a girl steps up! There was only one other girl in their with me, and I'm pretty positive she will drop, especially since she decided THAT night that she wanted to be a pilot. umm, thats not normal. so well see, cant judge a book by its cover, but I'm just sayyyin'.

so yeah! [ :
these past couple of days have been exciting, im glad school started and i can't wait till MANY things happen this year...!

Short exciting preview for me in these next couple of months includes:
