Three weeks ago point to present day today. Our goal is for the next time we see each other to be like "HOLY CRAP!" . . .you look amazing! haha. Something to freshen our bond and for something we have to look forward to in the future. Although the future may just be two months away, [ that of labor day weekend ] ive taken up about a hour and a half each day to do my daily 5 mile run. Wu Weeeee son! Running up the hill past the casino (smelling all that BBQ buffet food / : ) has been quite the most refreshing atmosphere to be apart of these past couple of weeks.
Although my 5 mile sweat land run, just took place last wednesday (because of the 79 issue) i have encountered many new things. . .
1. Running at night i get to see the gorgeous hillside sunset as the wind is punching at my face depending what direction the wind is blowing.
2. Running early early in the morning i get to see the beautiful sunrise and i get to hear all the pretty birds sing to me as i pass them by. Sometimes i even get a butterfly or two fly past my eyes, and scare the crap out of me, cause those things have like powder on them or something.

3. I feel like i've met a whole new group of people who share the same common interests, and its quite fun! I've learned some new "hey, good morning, how you doing, hi, supp" motions while tagging along the river walk on my daily run. [ this guy, throws a low peace sign, looking cool as heck running in his white tee and soccer shorts. the families always wave with big grins, the ladys with the dogs, always say hi, even though i cant hear them cause im blasting my "girltalk" in my headphones, but i see their lips move. . .and i always gesture back. Theres always the ones too, that pretend like they dont see you because their embarrassed or something, so they stick to one side of the riverwalk and either run fast as heck, or walk in joy that their on the same common grounds as myself yet just continue on their journey up or down the hill 'unnoticed'
4. sometimes i'll run into a Fox, and it freaks me out every time. Cause really, i feel so native and like i should befriend the thing, cause theirs indians living about 2 feet away and i want to be them, haha. But i sometimes think that he thinks I'm this bear, cause we both watch each others movement the second we spot each other, and being a runner in all black probably doesnt help. haha.
So im sure ive noticed more things running outside in the hot as heck air, or cold as hot morning mist. More things like the way people run or walk, the ones that do the walking as a family activity every night, the ones that run, then walk, then run then walk or the ones that you end up passing twice because they are just doing their daily functions. Theres also this Jackie Chan man, and i swear its his brother and hes a little ninja. He can pass me like 3 times, haha. His leggs are so buff, im so jelly.
But yeah, im pretty sure, ive made a new group of friends in the community and its like this riverwalk is what can bring us together. Its so fun to go running outside, than being stuck on a dang treadmill. I swear ALL of you who run long distances, run outside!! its so much more refreshing and theres SO much to see and encounter. So far, so good. . . my 'HOLY CRAP' session makes me WANT to go running everyday, and sweat two water bottles, and it just gives me energy to wake up early, sleep well (well besides the killer ants rading my house lately) and i just feel so much more alive. I'm gonna kick MF's ass in this whole game. hahahaha. nukkkka better step down! 35, sometimes 50 miles a week is NOTHING! [ : i rather run, then be a gilbert at the gym.
