It was a perfect day for flying, no wind, and the sun was out to play!
It sure was Mother's Day that Sunday May 10, 2009, and my Mom was defiantly there with me enjoying the Redbull event!
My Brother Emmett, my sister Tarrah and her BoyFriend Jeremy, and Mom and Baby E all came out with me to watch these airplanes fly over 200 mph over the water through an obstacle in hopes to make it to the finals, and win the over all 2009 Redbull Air Race Competition!
The Event opened at 11:00 Am and the show started at noon! So of course from 11-noon, the fam bam and i suckered down some Rebull, and nibbled away at the pretzels! haha. Good times! I sure did take a billion pictures, and was satisfied that it was a successful day! Of course we ended the day with a stop at the local In-n out, but nothing will compare to the amounts of fun we had as these planes zoom zoom past out faces!!
